This shit is very basic!

WTF? This is Rapscript a kind of word machine or word generator. A little script looks for words in the web and displays them every couple of seconds. But this happens synchronously worldwide! Via voice chat it is possible to have online freestyle cyphers and battles and be sure nobody is rapping written lines. You might wanna use Teamspeak, Skype or something similar for this.

What for? This is meant to be a source of inspiration for Freestyle MCs, to learn and train rap improvisation. But this will not happen overnight or automatic by using this site and forgetting to think for yourself. It is up to you how you use the words. You could just look for rhymes, words plays, punchlines, try to tell a story or get some nice words for your lyrics. The ideal training for the next Hip Hop Jam or freestyle battle.
If you have cypher or gig and a beamer and wireless connection the full screen mode might come handy to show the crowd your skills.

Why? Who? What next? This is a project of Zero2012 and R-Dent. Two Mcs of the former VZK Crew based in Germany. Zero2012 came up with the idea while looking for new challenges for freestyle rap. His part is the hunt for words in web with methods from computational linguistics. R-Dent created the flash front-end and the website. We do this in our free time and therefore sometimes it takes a little until new features and other languages are available, but we are always looking for new ideas and comments are very welcome.

RapScript in Action!

The VZK Crew uses RapScript at a Gig at the Klanggerüst in Erfurt (Thuringia).

Forb uses the german Rapscript to freestyle at home.

  3. Zero2012 Erst mal schön etwas Kritik zu bekommen aber definitiv kein Grund um andere zu beschimpfen.

    Natürlich ist das Ganze als Herausforderung gedacht und man sollte schon klar kommen wenn man mal ein Wort nicht kennt.
    Aber ich weiss dass teilweise fiese Wörter dabei sind und manchmal zu oft hinter einander kommen. Das wird sich auch nie ganz vermeiden lassen, weil die Liste automatisch erstellt wird und wir werden nicht alle Worte einzeln kontrollieren können.

    Aber es ist für die Zukunft geplant zwischen mehreren Listen auswählen zu können.     13.02.2012
  4. reimdoktor an den unter mir: halt dein maul das is ja gerade die kunst dabei mit den wörtern klarzukommen die da stehn egal ob du sie kennst oder nich du spast...wenn du kein plan hast dann versuch doch nich einen auf experten zu machen du schwätzer du bist der einzige "fail" hier 13.02.2012

    an sich echt kuhle sache,aber ein dickes ABER:
    wie kann man wörter bitte verwenden die im deutschen sprachgebrauch entweder garnicht vorkommen oder nur bedingt.
    Institutionum ist kein wort, das kommt ausm latenischen und heisst sowviel wie schule

    garnison,Botniabahn,Maronitischen,aperiodisch...

  8. burnt wäre voll geil wenn man auf weiße schrift / schwarzer background switchen könnte;
    zwecks cypha im club, kommt aufm beamer bestimmt gut. aber so oder so geiles teil ;)
